  • With the Jason Aldean controversy now having a full head of steam, naturally some of the news out there regarding the situation may be less than 100% factual
  • As people started choosing sides and social media was imploding over the story, reports started to surface that Luke Bryan had asked CMT to pull his videos as a show of solidarity with Aldean
  • CMT saw those stories and addressed them, with a rep for the network saying that Luke had done no such thing - nor had any other artist

CODY JOHNSON CONFIRMS NEW SINGLE "THE PAINTER," ON THE WAY

WHOLE FOODS WILL SOON LET YOU PAY WITH YOUR PALM PRINT

  • Whole Foods is adding biometric technology that will allow shoppers to pay with a wave of their hand.
  • They started testing palm recognition payment options two years ago and will be adding Amazon One palm scanners to all 500-plus grocery store locations.
  • The palm scanners are already available in over 200 Whole Foods stores in 20 states and the rest will roll out by the end of this year.

AMERICANS SAY DOING CHORES HELPED THEM BOND WITH PARENTS

  • Kids may not appreciate having to help around the house, but 25% of Americans say doing chores helped them bond with their parents, according to a new survey.
  • It finds that 64% find comfort in doing things the way they learned from their parents.
  • Top cleaning tips people learned from mom and dad include picking items up, not just dusting around them (73%), hand washing dishes in a specific order (70%) and “putting the kitchen to bed,” or cleaning it before you go to bed (68%).
