PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED FOR SIXTH ANNUAL NASHVILLE SONGWRITERS AWARDS

The prestigious Sixth Annual Nashville Songwriters Awards is set to go down September 26 - and the list of performers for the ceremony was released yesterday.
Running the gamut from obscure songwriters to new country artists to established superstars, the performers include (in alphabetical order): Trannie Anderson, Renee Blair, Ben Johnson, Tracy Lawrence, Megan Moroney, Hunter Phelps, Emily Shackelton, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Dallas Wilson and more.
The two-hour, music-filled ceremony will be dedicated to the people behind the hits. The Songwriter and Songwriter-Artist of the Year will be revealed, as well as the peer-voted Song of the Year and the ’10 Songs I Wish I’d Written’ awards. The event will take place at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and is open to the public. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.
