Alabama's "Rock The South" Festival is in the books - and the weekend was packed with great country performances, from Zach Bryan, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Travis Tritt and more - including Alabama native Riley Green.
Riley dropped a little good news for his many fans from the stage during his performance, revealing that his next album will be coming out in October. On top of that, he gave the fans a taste of what's to come - by performing a previously unreleased ballad he says is on that upcoming album, a song called "My Last Rodeo."
"I wrote this song about my granddaddy. Before he passed away this lyric was in my head, and it was him telling me at the hospital, 'This ain’t my last rodeo.' It stuck with me for a long time. I finally wrote this song about a month ago and I’ve played it a couple times. It’s gonna be on my album that comes out in October." Check out the live version of the tune here.
