As we told you, Sam Hunt is being credited with helping the plight of endangered sea turtles after he wore a vintage “Save the Ridley” T-shirt in his “Water Under The Bridge” video. The popularity of the clip sparked increase in inquiries to the sea turtle rescue and rehab facility Sea Turtle Inc. in South Texas, but that wasn’t his outright goal when he chose to wear the shirt.

As we told you, Kelsea Ballerini honored Shania Twain at this week’s ACM Honors, not only performing her track “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” but walking the red carpet in Shania's 1999 white GRAMMY dress, which she had on loan from the GRAMMY Museum.

The 15th annual ACM Honors, hosted by Carly Pearce, went down this week at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium with Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, Shania Twain and more among this year’s honorees, and several big-name stars on hand to pay tribute to them.

The University of Texas (UTA) in Austin is set to launch a new course all about Taylor Swift this autumn. The class is called “The Taylor Swift Songbook” and it’ll explore her songwriting. Her songs will be read alongside Shakespeare, Chaucer, Sylvia Plath, and Keats. Course texts include her albums “Folklore,” “Evermore,” “Lover,” and her reissue of “Red.”
