Luke Combs is known for always treating his fans well, and that was on display this weekend at his concert in Maine, when he refunded his entire audience because his voice wasn't up to par, but played his show anyway.
“I have to let you know that I have refunded all of your tickets,” Luke told his audience at Maine Savings Amphitheater. “At about 7 p.m. today, a few hours ago, I realized that I was not going to be able to sing as good as I normally do.” Luke said his voice wasn’t what he thought it should be for paying fans, so he gave them back their money, but went on with the show asking the audience to help and sing along.
“We’re still gonna play the show… So, we’re going to put on the best free show we could put on, and I want you guys to know how upset I am to have to tell you that tonight," he shared. "But all I want you to know is that we’re going to do the very d*mn best. I’m gonna give you everything that I have. And I am so sorry.”
- Later another video emerged showing Luke spotting two young fans in the audience who were holding up a sign that said they made $100 stacking firewood to pay for their tickets. One of them was there to celebrate his 12th birthday. Luke then called the young men over, took out his wallet, handed them $140 in cash and promised to give them another $60 for the full refund. He also signed memorabilia for them and invited them backstage after the show.
