The GRAMMYs are less than a week away and we finally know who’ll be performing on the show.

Monday is International Women Day and in honor of the occasion, several of your favorite country stars are opening up about the women who have shaped and inspired them throughout their careers. 

Miranda Lambert just surprised fans with news of a new album. The singer announced she’s releasing “The Marfa Tapes,” a collaboration with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall, on May 7^th.

Monday is International Women Day and in honor of the occasion, Carrie Underwood is opening up about some of the main influences on both her music and her career like Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill and Martina McBride.

While some people may not love to wear masks, Darius Rucker sees an added benefit to them.  In an interview with Kelly Sutton’s “Connected with Kelly” podcast, Darius, who recently moved to Nashville, says mask mandates have made it easier for him to sneak into local bars to hear musicians perform.

Thomas Rhett is giving fans a bunch of new music. The singer dropped not one, but two new songs at midnight, “Want it Again” and “Growing Up,” tunes he originally debuted on social media during quarantine.

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Steve Winwood, and Nile Rodgers are among the artists who have lent their voices to a new video thanking music educators and administrators for all they’ve done during the very challenging past year. 

Midland is ready to share their origin story. The band will be the subject of a new documentary, “Midland: The Sonic Ranch,” which was shot as they were first coming together as a band, directed by band member Cameron Duddy and Brian Loschiavo. 

Chris Stapleton has teamed with Buffalo Trace Distillery to help raise money for disaster relief in Texas and Kentucky by auctioning off select bottles of the new “Bottled in Bond Day” commemorative edition of Col E.H. Taylor, Jr. single barrel whiskey. The bottles are in celebration of the 125^th anniversary of Col. Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. getting the Bottled in Bond Act passed, which was the first consumer protection act. 

Congratulations are in order for Elle King. The singer is pregnant and it will be the first child for her and fiancé Dan Tooker.
