The 2022 CMT Music Awards went down in Nashville last night and it was a very good night for Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood, who took home Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year For “If I Didn’t Love You.” With Carrie’s two wins she extends her record for the most CMT Music Award wins with 25. It was also Jason’s first-ever Video of the Year win, and the ninth for Carrie.

Little Big Town is back with a brand new single, “Hell Yeah,” which they performed last night on the CMT Music Awards.  The track is the first single from the band in two years, and will be featured on their upcoming 10^th album.

Brett Young has contributed a new song for the upcoming Mark Wahlberg film “Father Stu,” which comes out Wednesday. The tune, “Long Way Home,” was written by Brett, along with Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and Bear Rinehart, who both also provide background vocals on the song. 

As we told you, Carrie Underwood is releasing the new album “Denim & Rhinestones” on June 10^th, and she just shared the title track of the album, which she co-wrote with David Garcia, Josh Kear, and Hillary Lindsey. 

Nominees with the Billboard Music Awards were just announced with Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and more earning multiple nods. 

Loretta Lynn’s 90^th birthday will be celebrated this week at the Grand Ole Opry. On Thursday, Loretta’s actual birthday, a new edition of “Opry Country Classics” will pay tribute to the country legend, with performances from her sister Crystal Gayle, the Gatlin Brothers, Elizabeth Cook, and Maggie Rose. 

Runaway June has a new lead singer. The trio announced that Stevie Woodward will be the group’s new frontwoman.

Dierks Bentley’s Seven Peaks Music Festival will return over Labor Day weekend, but it’s moving locations. The fest is now set to take place in San Luis Valley in Villa Grove, Colorado, September 2^nd to 4^th.

Jimmie Allen has a new album coming out. The singer is set to drop his third album, “Tulip Drive,” on June 24^th. 

Kelsea Ballerini has just given fans a taste of her next era. The singer just dropped the brand new single “Heartfirst.” The song was written by Kelsea, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, and Alysa Vanderheym.
