This was a big weekend for new country music, with several artists releasing new tunes. 

Sam Hunt has shared a new song on social media. The singer posted an autotuned cover of Garth Brooks’ “What She’s Doing Now,” and it sure appears that he’s experimenting with some other sounds.

As we told you, Brett Eldredge teased that he’d be sharing “the most emotional thing I’ve ever been a part of,” and it turns out it’s the video for the title track of his latest album, “Sunday Drive.” 

Like many artists Thomas Rhett hasn’t been on the road due to the coronavirus, and that means he hasn’t seen his band in awhile. But that all changed this week. 

Keith Urban fans just got some more new music. The singer just dropped the new the track “Tumbleweed,” teasing the song yesterday with the lyric, “Tumbleweed, Tumbleweed, I’ll roll with you, you roll with me…” 

Mitchell Tenpenny just dropped the video for his latest single “Broken Up.” The clip features a real-life couple, and the coronavirus paid a bit of a role in them getting picked for the video.

As promised, Chris Stapleton just dropped the new song “Starting Over,” which turns out to be the title track of his upcoming album, dropping November 13^th.

As we previously told you, Carrie Underwood is set to release her first Christmas album, "My Gift," on September 25^th, and now she’ released the track list for the record.

Margo Price is ready to get back on stage even if it’s without a live audience. The singer will headline two nights at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, September 9^th and 10^th, although it will be audience free.

Reba McEntire will release a classic concert on YouTube tomorrow. “Reba In Concert” was filmed in 1990 at Austin, Texas’ Frank Erwin Center in Austin. 

Carrie Underwood is once again returning to NBC’s Sunday Night Football. For the eighth consecutive year, Carrie will sing the opening theme, “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night,” for the Sunday night game, with the season kicking off September 13^th. 

Chris Stapleton just gave his fans a reason to get excited. Not only did the singer tease something coming on November 13^th, but he also announced a new single, “Starting Over,” dropping tomorrow at noon. 

The ACM Awards are finally airing next month, and we now know the first round of performers. According to posts on social media, performers so far include Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi, Tim McGraw, and Old Dominion, along with New Artist winners Tenille Townes and Riley Green.

Sam Hunt is getting ready to play live again. The singer is set to take part in Red Rocks Amphitheater’s upcoming virtual concert series “Red Rocks Unpaused.” The series is set to run September 1^st to 3^rd, with Sam closing out the festivities, with special guest Brett Young.

Jason Aldean is bringing some summer fun into fans homes this weekend. The singer is teaming with Corona for an end of summer virtual backyard livestream, taking place Friday at 5 pm CT. 

Thomas Rhett continues to share new music with fans via social media. In case you missed it, the singer posted the new song, “Mamaws House,” on Instagram.

Morgan Wallen just dropped the video for his latest single “More Than My Hometown. The clip centers around a small town couple whose relationship is tested when the woman goes off to the big city to chase her dreams, while her man stays in their hometown.

It’s no secret Luke Bryan loves the outdoors, and now he’s sharing all his favorite things to help others love it as well. The singer just launched his very own Amazon storefront, featuring personally curated outdoors products, including items for fishing, camping and hunting.

Americana star Justin Townes Earle, son of singer Steve Earle, has died at the age of 38. No cause of death has been revealed.
