Carrie Underwood Returning For “Sunday Night Football”

Carrie Underwood is once again returning to NBC’s Sunday Night Football. For the eighth consecutive year, Carrie will sing the opening theme, “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night,” for the Sunday night game, with the season kicking off September 13th.
This year’s opening will look a bit different than in previous years. The opening segment will feature fans showing off their team spirit, along with remotely shot cameos from the NFL’s biggest stars. It will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of Carrie in the studio recording the latest version of the theme.
