It’s no secret that Brad Paisley has a lot of talents, but did you know fish surgery was one of them.

Brad and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley reveal in a new interview with “People” that Brad helped save his 11-year-old son Jasper’s puffer fish during quarantine by performing a little surgery on his teeth.

“My son had four pufferfish and was down to two — and this one was losing weight," he explains, noting that when their teeth grow too long it makes it hard for them to eat. Well, Brad noticed that this one fish was in bad shape and needed his teeth trimmed, so he sprang into action, after consulting with YouTube about what to do.

He put the fish in a bucket with some clove oil to put it to sleep and then began clipping. "I've never seen him nervous before, but his hand was shaking," Kimberly says, with Brad adding, "I have a friend who's a brain surgeon, and I called him going, 'Is it normal for your hand to do this?'"

In the end the fish was fine. “They've got like a beak, and I clipped it and thought I killed him — but he made it!,” he says, noting, "These are the things in a pandemic you do yourself."
