The gala is going to benefit the Willie Nelson Endowment for Uplifting Rural Communities at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin
The endowment aims to support research and student fellowships focused on issues to help rural communities
The endowment has received sponsorships from President LBJ and Mrs. Johnson’s daughters, as well as Texas retailer H-E-B
Interested individuals can purchase tickets or help sponsor the endowment on the LBJ Award website
