This was a big weekend for new country music, with several artists releasing new tunes.

Congratulations are in order for Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and wife Hayley. The couple welcomed their third child, son Atlas Roy, on Thursday. 

After months of no audience performances, the Grand Ole Opry is ready to welcome back music fans. The Opry has announced they will be bringing back fans starting October 3^rd, although it will be a limited capacity of only 500 socially distanced guests.

Gary Allan, Jordan Davis, Caylee Hammack and Josh Turner are among the artists set to perform on a new concert series that will air on The Outdoor Channel.

Carrie Underwood’s new holiday album “My Gift” drops today and she’s found even more ways to bring holiday cheer to her fans. The singer just announced she’ll star in an exclusive holiday special for HBO Max.

While the coronavirus may have kept the 35^th annual Farm Aid concert from being live this year,  fans will still get to enjoy some great performances this weekend.

As we told you, the 2020 CMT Award nominations were announced earlier this week and Blanco Brown received two nods, Video Of The Year and Breakthrough Video Of The Year for “The Git Up.”

Scotty McCreery is out with the brand new song “You Time,” which was inspired by his wife Gabi.

Miranda Lambert has chosen “Settling Down” as her new single from her latest album “Wild Card.” 

The CMT Music Awards are set to go down October 21^st, and now the nominees are out.
