Chris Stapleton, Michael Ray & More Drop New Songs

This was a big weekend for new country music, with several artists releasing new tunes.

  • Chris Stapleton has given fans another taste of his upcoming album “Starting Over,” which drops November 13th. The latest is the song “Cold,” which he wrote with J.T. Cure and Derek Mixon, and producer Dave Cobb. This is the second song Chris has released from the album, following the title track. 

  • Michael Ray just dropped the new song “Whiskey and Rain.” “It was a country song that made me pick up a guitar and move to Nashville ten years ago,” he shares on Instagram. “With this new music we're making, I tried to remind myself that I'm just as much of a fan of traditional country music today as I ever was.... and we’re bringing it back y’all!!” He adds, “I hope you hear the influences I grew up on when you listen to this song.” 

  • Caitlyn Smith teams with Old Dominion for a new song on the just released “Supernova (Deluxe),” a deluxe version of her March release.. The artists collaborate on the track “I Can’t.” 

  • Danielle Bradbery just dropped the new song “Girls In My Hometown,” which was written by Nicolle Gaylon, Josh Osbourne, and Emily Weisband, and produced by Dan Huff. The tune is described as “a meditation on where you’ve been and those mountains still yet to climb.”
