Congratulations are in order for Mickey Guyton. The GRAMMY nominated singer and husband Grant Savoy just welcomed their first child, son Grayson.

As we told you, Carly Pearce is releasing the new EP “29” on February 19^th , and she just shared another track from the record. The latest song is called “Should Have Known Better,” which she says is the first song she recorded for the EP.

Super Bowl LV kicked off last night with one of the more unique renditions of the National Anthem. Counry star Eric Church and R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan teamed to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” at the Big Game, with Eric playing guitar and starting things off and Jazmine bringing some soul to the second verse. 

Darius Rucker is such a football fan that he often jokes, “for me, there’s two times a year, man — football season and waiting for football season.” Because of his fandom, he’s obviously excited or this weekend’s Super Bowl, which he expects will be a “great game.”

As we’ve told you, Eric Church will join Jazmine Sullivan to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday, and he says it’s something he actually never wanted to do.

Jason Aldean and wife Brittany celebrated daughter Navy’s second birthday yesterday by waking her up with a serenade. Brittany shared video of she and Jason singing “Happy Birthday” to their little girl, who just wanted to know where the balloons were, and got excited by the idea of presents.

Songwriter Jim Weatherly, who wrote such classic songs as Gladys Knight and the Pips’ “Midnight Train to Georgia,” and “(You’re The) Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me,” passed away Wednesday at the age of 77.
