Sunday was Wynonna and Ashley Judd’s first Mother’s Day without mom Naomi, who recently passed away at age 76, and they both took to social media to pay tribute to her.
Wy shared a family picture on Instagram, with the simple caption, “ miss her,” while Ashley also shared a throwback photo, sharing how she and her mom used to talk about a variety of social issues, including the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements and more.
She added, “Mom, thank you for hugging me and telling me I am an extraordinary woman and urging my voice,” and then directed her followers to her recent op-ed piece about her mom.
