Will Taylor Swift Help Bring Dixie Chicks Back To Country Radio

The Dixie Chicks appear on Taylor Swift’s new album, on the emotional song “Soon You’ll Get Better,” and some country stations have started playing it, despite it not being an official single from Taylor’s album “Lover.”
But bringing the Dixie Chicks back to country radio isn’t exactly easy. The trio has basically blacklisted from country radio since Natalie Maines’ 2003 comment, “We’re ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas.”
And while some stations are getting positive feedback regarding the Dixie Chicks return, not all listeners are so forgiving. In fact, one Houston station, who started playing the song three times a day, says they are already getting complaints about playing song.
