Tony Evans Jr. Impresses Luke Combs With Cover Of "One Number Away”

Tony Evans Jr, an upcoming independent country singer, recently covered Luke Combs' "One Number Away" on TikTok, and the singer is going viral. The cover has so far gotten over 1.6 million views, and more importantly caught the attention of Luke Combs himself!
“Damn. Sounds great buddy,” Combs told Evans. Evans' version of the song also caused a lot of people who thought they didn't like country music to change their mind, with many users on TikTok claiming they've started listening to it more because of Evans. Evans has even covered other stars, including Toby Keith who duetted Evans on his cover of the classic “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” with over 500,000 views.
Evans has not yet signed a record deal but he has promised that he's going to release some original music soon. Evans may have a record soon, as he’s got country music stars watching him closely. Prime example? Mickey Guyton is shouting from the rooftops for Evan’s to get a record deal: “I am shooketh. Not sure he has a record deal but if he doesn’t, he needs one ASAP.”
