Tim McGraw On The "Common Thread" Of New Album

It’s no secret that Tim McGraw takes his music very personally. With his latest single, “7500 OBO,” hitting number one – the 45th of his career, thank you – he’s talking about how it fits into his “Here On Earth” album.
“Like, one song I don’t think connects to the next song,” Tim explains. “They all collectively tell a story.” Not surprising for fans of Tim’s of course – they know that his records tend to be very “slice of life”-esque.
And for Tim, the album is a puzzle of themes and styles, and while they’re different…Tim explains that it’s much like our own lives, different stages DO have different vibes. And for Tim? The wide-ranging flavor of the project shows “somebody’s life unfolding.” Speaking of life unfolding, while Tim’s working on new music, his next release will likely be from “Here On Earth.”
