As we told you, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill star in the upcoming “Yellowstone” prequel “1883” and they feel very “fortunate” to have this opportunity to work together.
“Both of us have been in this business for 30 years,” Tim tells “People,” “To have this opportunity to do something different in our career …it seems to me like we’re very grateful and very fortunate that we have this opportunity to take this step in our career and to take that step together.”
Faith says they were approached by the series creator Tyler Sheridan about being in the series, and being familiar with his work, and “Yellowstone” they were interested. They then were sent some scripts and she says that after episode three, “we were just like holy sh*t.”
She adds, “it was honestly one of the most poetic, incredibly accurate and most brilliantly written things we had read,” noting it was “the hook that got us in.”
“1883” premieres December 19th on Paramount +.
- ONE MORE THING! Tim has released a new version of his song “The Cowboy In Me” for “Yellowstone,” which premiered on last night’s episode.
