Thomas Rhett & Wife On Their “Wild Journey” To Their Eighth Anniversary

Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren will celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary on October 12th, but they’ve been together much longer than that. They actually went to school together in first grade, and then really met in sixth grade and Thomas says even though he was only 11 or 12 he "fell in love with her that day."
“We dated for a little bit in high school and then broke up for a very long time and got back together when we were about 21 years old,” he says. “And now we’re about to celebrate eight years of marriage, so it’s been a pretty wild journey with her.”
And while it may have taken a while to get where they are today, he notes, “I wouldn’t trade one minute of it, even the hard parts.”
