As we told you, Thomas Rhett just announced he’ll be releasing a double album this year, with “Country Again: Side A” dropping April 30th. Well, Thomas is now opening up about what fans can expect.

Thomas says the album “is a bit of return to my roots,” which was the result of things that have been happening to him over the last few years. He notes, “I feel like that I started to think different. I started to think a little bit more simple, I started to live a little bit more simple.”

Thomas says he recorded 24 songs for the album but right away they knew that “What’s Your Country Song” would be the album’s first single.

“I feel like ‘What’s Your Country Song’ is just a great lead,” he shares. “It’s up-tempo and I think it talks about, kinda the state of life that I’m in right now, and I think it truly resonates with a lot of people."

  • ONE MORE THING! As we told you, Thomas recently announced three socially-distanced concerts at Billy Bob’s Texas. Well, those shows quickly sold out and he’s now added two more, taking place May 14th and 15th. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 am. Check out the announcement below:
