As we told you, Thomas Rhett will be dropping the new album “Where We Started” on April 1st and now we’re learning a little more about the record.

The album features 15 songs, including the already released “Slow Down Summer,” “Angels” and “Church Boots,” along with guest appearances by Katy Perry on the title track, as well as Riley Green, Tyler Hubbard and Russell Dickerson.

"Having Katy Perry featured on this was mind-blowing to me,” he said.  "I’ve always been such a fan of hers. To have her on here really escalated the emotion of that track. It’s a song I think a lot of people are going to relate to and a lot of people are really going to enjoy.”

As for the songs, he notes,  “These are songs like I felt (were) like the songs I was writing at the beginning of my career,” adding, “(They) have turned into something I feel like I can put my stamp on.”
