Thomas Rhett On Getting Riley Green To Join Him On Single

Thomas Rhett’s latest single “Half of Me” features his good friend Riley Green, and it turns out Riley was the first person Thomas thought about when he decided he wanted a feature on the single.

“Riley Green and I have become really good buddies over the last couple years,” Thomas shares, “And I remember sending him that song, and had forgotten that I played it for him like a year previous and we never talked about it again. And I said, ‘Man, would you feature on this?’ And he was like, ‘Absolutely.’”

And it didn’t take Riley long to nail his contribution to the track. “I remember Riley pulls up to my producer’s house,” he says, “and literally three takes and it was done. He’s so good, so talented.”
