Thomas Rhett has another number one song under his belt. The singer’s “Sixteen” tops the “Billboard” Country Airplay chart this week, his 12th number one on the chart and the fifth from his latest album “Life Changes.”
“Thank you times a million to country radio, my amazing fans and my amazing team for making “sixteen” my 5th number one single off of life changes!,” Thomas tweeted upon hearing the news.
“Life Changes” is now Thomas’ second straight album to have at least four Country Airplay number ones, following “Tangled Up.” He joins Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton who all had five songs go number one from the one album. Luke actually holds the record with six, from his album “Kill The Lights.”
