Thomas Rhett Keeps His Expectations Low On CMA Night

Thomas Rhett is up for two CMA Awards this week, and even though he’s won some CMAs in the past, he never expects to walk out with a trophy.
“Every time I’m nominated, I go in with very low expectations for myself,” Thomas shares. “But it’s always super cool when you do win.”
Thomas is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, as well as Album of the Year for “Center Point Road,” and he’s particularly happy to be recognized for his record.
He says being nominated in that category is “the coolest,” adding, when you have that many people that have voted for an album like that, to be one of the top five or six is just mind blowing."
