Thomas Rhett may be a country star, but he’s also a dad to three girls, and during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” he admits he’s pretty much a stereotypical dad.
Just how is he a typical dad? "Yeah I mean, I'm wearing a polo at 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon," he joked to Ellen, adding, "I mean my bus is filled with nothing but kid toys.”
Not only that, Thomas says, "My shorts are getting shorter, I'm taking a camera everywhere I go—a big camera—tryna just capture all these moments and really just embrace the dad life."
Meanwhile Thomas says his three daughters, five-year-old Willa Gray, three-year-old Ada James and 14-month-old Lennon Love, are very helpful to their dad when it comes to his music.
He tells Ellen that he’ll play his songs in the car for them and if they don’t want to hear them again, “there’s no way that song is ever gonna make the record.” On the other hand, Thomas says if they ask to hear it again, “you might have a hit or two on your hands."
