The Sordid Romantic Life Of Miranda Lambert’s Hubby Revealed

It’s understandable that people were shocked when Miranda Lambertannounced that she secretly wed New York City cop Brendan McLoughlin, but they may be even more shocked to find out her new hubby’s sordid romantic history. According to “Us Weekly,” before meeting Miranda, Brendan was actually engaged to another woman, and cheated on her, getting the other woman pregnant. 

Carol Bruno is the mother of Brendan’s former fiancée Jackie Bruno, and she says Brendan's cheating came as a complete shock to her daughter. “She was thrown for a loop, she had no clue,” Carol says, adding that it was Brendan’s mistress, Kaihla Rettinger, who broke the news to her daughter. “The girl contacted her. Jackie was in Sweden playing professional soccer, got injured and came home and the girl contacted her. She broke the news to her.”

Carol says Brendan was the one “begging” her daughter to marry him, and he did this “even though he knew the girl was pregnant.” Carol adds when her daughter found out about the pregnancy, Miranda’s hubby, “tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him.”

• Meanwhile, Carol also talked to Radaronline, where she called Brendan a “phony,” adding that her daughter is “over him.” “She’s better off without him,” she said. “She’s a great person and definitely didn’t deserve what he did to her. He definitely was very phony and she had no idea. He hid it well, he hid it very well.” 

As we previously told you, Miranda reportedly met Brendan in November, just a few days after the birth of his son, who is named Landon.
