The Billboard Music Awards Are Tonight

The 2019 Billboard Music Awards are happening tonight and it’s bound to be an exciting night for music fans.

Performers for this year’s telecast include Kelly Clarkson, who’ll also host the show, with Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie opening the evening with a performance of Tay’s latest single “ME!” The night’s other performers include Dan + Shay, Madonna and Maluma, Jonas Brothers, BTS with Halsey, plus Halsey on her own, Khalid, Panic! at the Disco, Ciara,  Lauren Daigle, Paula Abdul, and Ariana Grande, live from her tour stop in Vancouver, British Columbia.

In addition, Mariah Carey will be honored with the "Billboard" Icon Award, and will perform a medley of her songs. 

• Presenters this year include Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Asher Angel, Becky G, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley, Cobie Smulders, Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani, David Guetta, Erin and Sara Foster, Eva Longoria,  Jennifer Hudson, Jesse Spencer, Julia Michaels, Julianne Hough, Kane Brown, Olivia Wilde, Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever, Ralph Macchio, Rob Gronkowski, Ross Lynch and Kiernan Shipka, Sabrina Carpenter, Sophie Turner and Tye Sheridan, Terry Crews and William Zabka. 

• Dan + Shay lead this year's country nominees with seven, including two all-genre categories – “Billboard” Chart Achievement Award and Top Duo/Group. Others receiving multiple nods include FGL, Luke Combsand Kane, with four a piece, with all three in the running for Top Country Artist.

• The 2019 Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Clarkson, will air on NBC at 8 pm, live from the MGM Garden Arena. Check out some of the nominees below and click here for the complete list.
