Taylor Swift is once again battling her former record label. It seems Big Machine Label Group just released an album of live Taylor performances, and they did so without her permission.

“This recording is from a 2008 radio show performance I did when I was 18,” she shares on Instagram live. “I’m always honest with you guys about this stuff so I just wanted to tell you that this release is not approved by me.”  She adds, “It looks to me like Scooter Braun and his financial backers…have seen the latest balance sheets and realized that paying $330 MILLION for my music wasn’t exactly a wise choice if they wanted money.”

Finally, she notes, “in my opinion…just another case of shameless greed in the time of the Coronavirus. So tasteless, but very transparent.”

  • ONE MORE THING! Taylor shared an adorable picture of her cat Olivia, which basically symbolizes how we are all feeling during lockdown. The picture basically has Olivia sitting upright with a frown on her face, which Taylor captioned, “Captain Olivia Benson off duty like-“
