Taylor Swift has been busy on her “Reputation” stadium tour, grossing an impressive average of $103 million per city, but with the help of Meghan McCain, took time to make one special fan’s dream a reality at her Lincoln Financial Field show over the weekend. The lucky fan, 21-year-old Lexi Caviston, is in the middle of a battle with brain cancer.
The meeting came after McCain noticed a social media campaign by Caviston’s best friend, marked with the hashtag #LexiStrong, which said it was Caviston’s dream to meet Swift at her Philadelphia show. McCain, who’s father John McCain is also battling glioblastoma, joined the effort to help Caviston by setting up the meeting in a tweet to Swift.
McCain called Swift a “class act” and “incredible artist,” thanking her for making the meeting possible. “I am so happy that we were able to help Lexi forget about her cancer for one day,” she said, “She spoke to our producer and said it was by far the best day of her life.”
