Sugarland has shared a cover of the Peter Gabriel track “Come Talk to Me.” The duo released their performance as part of their “Trailer Sessions,” in which Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush perform in one of their equipment trailers.
“We rediscovered this in a new way,” Jennifer shares ahead of their performance. “The lyrics — where we’re at within our culture and within our country — feel super appropriate. Even though we’re online and we’re so super connected, we’re actually disconnected in terms of what real talking and real dialogue could be.”
“Come Talk To Me” is a track off Gabriel’s 1992 album “Us.” Check out Sugarland's take above.
