Strugill Simpson his helping raise money for folks in his home estate affected severe flooding last week.

Over the summer he launched a “Dick Daddy Survival School” merch line, based on Instagram stories he posted while recovering from COVID-19. Back then he raised $500,000 for the Special Forces Foundation, Equity Alliance and MusiCares COVID-19 fund, and now he’s selling more merch to help raise money for flood relief.

“As many of you may or may not already know, the Appalachian region of Southeastern Kentucky was ravaged by severe flooding this past Monday,” he writes. “My hometown of Jackson, KY seemingly suffered the worst of it, especially the immediate areas around Panbowl lake and Lakeside where I lived as a child.”

He says almost half the population has been “displaced or completely lost everything,” noting, “It goes without saying this is something weighing extremely heavy on my heart.”

Sturgill then “humbly” asks his fans for their support for his new fundraising campaign, which includes the sale of more DDSS merch, “including a super fresh "White Flash" t-shirt celebrating Jackson's longstanding and greatest greasy little cheeseburger diner on the planet,” and more.

All proceeds will go to "Aspire Appalachia" in Jackson, Ketucky. Click here to check out the merch.
