Social Dilemma -How Do I Tell Mom I Hate

My mother has never been a great cook but since my dad has always handled most of the cooking it’s never been much of an issue. About 10 years ago she decided to make me a pie for my 30 birthday, and since everyone in the family was trying to be nice we pretended to enjoy it, but secretly threw it out when she wasn’t looking. Well, because she thinks we all liked it, she’s been making it for everyone’s birthday each year. If it’s possible, it gets worse each time she makes it. How do we break it to her that we want her to stop making the pie? We all love mom, she just needs to stay out of the kitchen!
