Scotty McCreery Drops Video for “Damn Strait”

Scotty McCreery has dropped the video for his latest single “Damn Strait,” from his album “Same Truck.”
The song is peppered with George Strait references, and so is the video, which features old photos of Strait, and was shot at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas, where Strait performed before landing a record deal.
“‘Damn Strait’ is both a classic country heartbreak song as well as a tribute to George Strait,” Scotty shares. “I knew I wanted to film (the video) at a place that paid respect to both elements of the song,” noting Gruene Hall was the “perfect location.”
He adds, “You can feel the history and the music of country music’s past and present in every inch of that venue.”
