Rob Williford Leaves Luke Combs’ Band

Longtime member of Luke Combs’ band, Rob Williford, announced that he is leaving the band in an emotional social media post. Williford served as Combs’ guitarist on the road for several years and co-wrote several of Combs’ biggest hits.
Williford admitted that he “a lot of sleepless nights” considering his decision to leave, but ultimately decided he needed to focus on writing and producing. Willford went on to thank Luke, his other band members, and the fans for all their support over the years.
“A brother in the truest since of the word. Luke, I owe you so much man,” Willford ended his post. But this won’t be the end of their collaborations. Combs responded quickly “Love you too buddy. We got plenty of songs and memories ahead of us.”
