Riley Green Is Better With Words Than Music

When it comes to writing songs Riley Green admits he’s better with words than music.
“I guess if I had to pick, as far as musically or findin’ the lyrics, I’m definitely more of a word guy,” he shares. “My granddaddy Buford was a really witty guy and was writin’ poems. I would say that’s probably my biggest strong suit.”
Luckily for Riley, he writes with a lot of people who are “helpful for me comin’ up with different melodies,” noting, “That’s something that I try to learn to appreciate and benefit from.”
