Riley Green Didn’t Celebrate His First Number One With A Big Splurge

Riley Green landed his first number one, “There Was This Girl,” earlier this year and like most people he celebrated by treating himself, although he didn’t exactly go for a big splurge.
“I bought a 1985 Chrysler LeBaron for $3000 when I was on tour last week and it broke down at the show,” he says. As for why he didn’t go bigger and get a new car, he notes, “there’s no point in me buying anything really nice. I don’t have time to drive a car.”
Plus, he adds, “I don’t think I really have a luxurious lifestyle.”
