Rascal Flatts Enjoyed Downtime But Are Ready To Get Back Out There

As we told you, Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus says he’s been enjoying spending more time with his kids during lockdown, and Joe Don Rooney has been feeling the same way.
“Yeah, the down time’s been pretty good, to be honest,” he says, noting he’s been able to “Reconnect with the family and reintroduce myself to my kids.”
One thing he didn’t care too much for is homeschooling though. “I have a whole new respect for teachers, instructors out there,” he shares. “I don’t know how they do it. It was challenging but we got through it and I was really proud of my kids.”
- As for Gary LeVox, he says the downtime has given him time to work around the house and write songs, but he’s ready for it to be over. “It’s not where I want to stay,” he explains. “I can’t wait to start going back to work, singing some music, doing something other than what I’ve been doing.”
