Until the last decade or so, musicians had pretty simple goals: gold, platinum, #1 hits, sold out concerts. More recently, you can add certain social media milestones to the mix.
Old Dominion just hit a big one - one million Instagram followers. And to thank fans, they jumped on the social media platform to express their gratitude.
Lead singer Matthew Ramsey did the talking. "Hey! It's us... we all collectively want to say 'thank you,' we have reached one million followers on Instagram. That is no small feat - so thank you guys so much for loving our music, for welcoming us into your lives. It means the world to us. Thank you."
