Morgan Wallen made a surprise appearance this weekend at a somewhat unlikely concert.
The singer turned up at Nashville’s MLK Freedom Fest, an event honoring Martin Luther King Jr.. He joined Lil Durk for their hit collaboration “Broadway Girls.” In introducing Morgan, Lil Durk called him “genuine at heart,” adding, “Can’t nobody cancel sh*t without me saying it, you know what I’m saying?”
The appearance comes less than a year after Morgan was caught on video using a racial slur. He attributed his behavior to being drunk. It is also Morgan’s second surprise appearance this month. As we told you, he joined Ernest on stage at the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry was met with tons of criticism for it.
