Lainey Wilson Has Thoughts On Beyoncé Dipping Her Toes In Country Music: Lainey Wilson was caught on the red carpet outside the People's Choice Awards Sunday night and among other things, was asked about Beyoncé seemingly going country with her latest music. Lainey had some thoughts. "The truth is, country music is about storytelling, and Beyoncé knows how to tell a story. So I think it's awesome," Lainey said. "I think it's awesome for the country music genre," the country singer says. "Everybody wants to feel at home, and country music makes you feel at home. So Beyoncé, come on home, girl!" Lainey's pretty country, so if she's OK with it...

Jordan Davis Releasing "Good News Sold" Friday: Music fans have it good in 2024. Instead of having to wait on record companies to release music when they want to, artists (thanks to social media) have a direct link to their fans - and more and more of them are using that link to drop music, whether it's an official release, an unreleased track, or just them playing around at home on an acoustic guitar. Jordan Davis posted a music clip over the weekend and followed it up with a graphic, captioning it "Coming Friday." The song is "Good News Sold," and it's already gotten positive feedback from a couple of Nashville peers. Hailey Whitters commented, "makin me cry again," and Jake Owen chimed in with "Keep putting out them JD classics bud!"

Megan Moroney Taking Her Show To Europe, The UK: Megan Moroney is taking the show on the road - and that road is taking her overseas. The singer announced her "Georgia Girl" Tour will take her through Europe and the UK for fifteen dates in September. "UK+EUROPE I’M COMIN FOR YA LATER THIS YEAR & I CANT WAIT!!!!" she posted on her Instagram. The trek starts in Cardiff, Wales on September 4 and wraps up September 27 in Zurich, Switzerland.

Big & Rich Taking It On The Road For 20th Anniversary: They're getting the band back together again! Big & Rich - who thrilled (and confused) country music fans when they broke out in 2004, is celebrating their 20th anniversary as heads of the "Muzik Mafia" collective (that also featured Gretchen Wilson and Cowboy Troy) with a tour. The tour kicks off February 23 in San Antonio Texas at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, wrapping up August 17 at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Visit the band's website for more tour dates and ticket information.
