Dan + Shay Celebrate Eleven Years Together By Taking Instagram Requests: Dan + Shay marked an important date in their history yesterday. Posting on Instagram, the duo said, "We met 11 years ago today. Whether we’re on the road or at home, we always make it a point to get together to celebrate the day that changed our lives." They went on to say, "Here is an acoustic version of the first original holiday song we ever recorded, TAKE ME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. When we asked for requests earlier today, this one was at the top of the list." Congratulations to Dan + Shay!
Kane Brown Earns Diamond Certification For "Heaven": It had only been done seven times before; now Kane Brown has the eighth country single to ever earn "Diamond" certification with his 2017 single "Heaven." "Diamond" certification denotes combined sales and streaming equivalent units of over 10-million units in the United States. Brown was surprised with the news at home with a heartfelt video from fellow diamond-selling country artists Luke Combs, Lady A’s Hillary Scott, Tyler Hubbard and Darius Rucker. With his "Diamond" certification, Brown joins a select group of only seven other country musicians whose careers boast the rare feat, including Chris Stapleton (“Tennessee Whiskey”), Sam Hunt (“Body Like A Back Road”), Luke Combs (“Beautiful Crazy”), Darius Rucker (“Wagon Wheel”), Lady A (“Need You Now”) and Florida Georgia Line (“Cruise”).
