Mitchell Tenpenny Loves Being Outdoors During The Summer

It’s now officially summer and Mitchell Tenpenny is certainly happy about that because it allows him more time to be outside.
“The thing I love about summertime the most is just being outdoors,” he shares. “I am born and bred to be outdoors.”
Mitchell adds that while he loves “everything about being outside,” there is one downside in the summer – the bugs. He notes, “It gets a little mosquito heavy down here in the south, but I’d take it just to be outside.”
Mitchell says when he was a kid he got to spend a lot of his summers with his uncle who would help his parents out because they worked, and he taught him a lot of music. “Before we could go outside, he made me learn a song on the piano,” Mitchell shares. “And I think that has a lot to do with why I still play today, and why I do what I do for a living.”
