Mitchell Tenpenny was supposed to headline Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for the first time on October 10th, but the show had to be canceled due to the coronavirus. But that’s not stopping Mitchell from performing on what was supposed to be a special day for him

The singer just announced his “10.10.20” livestream and shows, which will feature a livestream from Hope Lodge at 12 pm CT, followed by two in-person concerts at Nashville’s The Listening Room.

The special day of music will benefit his 10Penny Fund, which is partnered with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare.

  • “I’m disappointed we had to move the Ryman concert to 2021 as I’ve dreamed of headlining that venue all my life growing up in Nashville,” he shared. “But we still have a great day of live music planned for the fans and I’m challenging all of us to raise $10,000 to help families who are dealing with a loved one’s cancer diagnosis,” adding, “And my friends at Sarah Cannon will match our donation!”
