Miranda Lambert couldn’t help but show off her happiness at a show in Atlantic City, New Jersey this weekend. Between songs the singer couldn’t help but gush about how happy hubby Brendan McLoughin is making her.

Miranda noted that even though she was singing a sad song she’s not sad anymore. “Lucky for me, I’m not in a sad time anymore in my life,” she said between songs, holding up her hand to show off her ring. She then added, “Thank you to my sweet husband from Staten Island, by the way!”

She added, “So even though I’m not sad anymore thanks to Brendan my husband, I still love a sad country song with all my heart, so I’m going to sing a sad one if you want to get sad with me.”

  • Meanwhile, Miranda took to Instagram to show of her airstream trailer Wanda, named after her late grandmother. The trailer was given some updating thanks to TJ, the man who tows it to each show, and she sees the changes as “metaphor.”
  • “He showed me all the things Wanda had done to tune her up for the tour. New screen, new wheels, a polish, and the best part is he had her crown repainted and replaced the missing rhinestones she had lost along the road in the last few years,” she shares. “To me that is a metaphor for this life. Sometimes you lose a rhinestone or two but you keep your crown on.”

This is TJ. He pulls our 1955 flying cloud airstream @wandatwanderer to every show we play. She is a rolling bar named after my mother’s mother who we lost last spring. A gem of a woman who always had a feisty personality and a whiskey in her hand. Wanda has been on the road for 8 years and is our center. The place where the whole tour gets together to celebrate what we do. She is a little piece of home on the road for all of us. TJ inspired me this week. I got to the venue on Friday and he had the biggest smile on his face. He showed me all the things Wanda had done to tune her up for the tour. New screen, new wheels, a polish, and the best part is he had her crown repainted and replaced the missing rhinestones she had lost along the road in the last few years. To me that is a metaphor for this life. Sometimes you lose a rhinestone or two but you keep your crown on. Thanks @tj8500 ! We all appreciate you. Especially Wanda. This show tonight in New Hampshire @banknhpavilion marks the end of the summer run and the beginning of rehearsals for the Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour.
