Midland Think CMA Award Nominations Are “Cool”

Midland is up for two awards at tonight’s CMA Awards, New Artist and Vocal Group of the Year, and they are certainly honored to be nominated.
“Tt’s not really something that we focus on,” Mark Wystrach shares, adding, “It’s really wonderful to be nominated for awards and be recognized for the work that you’re doing, but we’re just really chasin’ the songs and we’re chasin’ the sound and we’re chasin’ the live performances.”
Mark notes that the band works hard writing and recording their music, as well as performing it live, sharing, “so to get recognized as a vocal group which is what we take huge pride in. It’s really cool.”
