Midland Enlist Dennis Quaid For “Mr. Lonely” Video

Midland has dropped a video for their latest single “Mr. Lonely,” starring Dennis Quaid in the title role.

The clip has the title character waking up in one woman’s bed and then heading out looking for another conquest only to get his comeuppance from a group of scorned woman out to settle the score for his womanizing ways. The band makes an appearance as the local bar band.

“Mr. Lonely” is the first single from Midland’s upcoming album, which so far hasn’t been announced. Check out the video to the right.

• ONE MORE THING! “Mr. Lonely,” like most of Midland’s songs, is considered by fans to be more traditional country, and Jess Carsonsays “it’s an honor” to be considered the torchbearers of that sound. He adds, “we’ve had some success and we’re just going to keep doing what we do, you know. And I think there’s gonna be people out there that like it and some people that don’t.”
