Midland Dropping New Single Friday

Midland debuted two new songs at SXSW earlier this month, and now the band is getting ready to release one of those tunes, “Mr. Lonely.” The tune will drop Friday, with Mark Wystrachdescribing it as “an irreverent honky tonk, rock and roll song.”

He adds it’s “a tip of the hat to that late 80s, early 90s, Dwight Yoakam, Clint Black, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, barroom anthems,” that get people up and dancing.
