Midland has their first number one album. The band’s sophomore release, “Let It Roll,” debus at number one on the “Billboard” Top Country Album charts, moving 22,000 equivalent album units, 16,000 in album sales.

“Thanks to everyone who’s believed in this band and continues to support our music,” the band shared on Twitter. “Whether you just discovered us or you’ve been with us for years, we want you to know we love y’all. This album is for you.”

And Midland isn’t the only new debut on the chart this week. Tanya Tucker’s “While I’m Livin’” debuts at nine, while Vince Gill’s “Okie” debuts at 16.

  • Meanwhile, the Dixie Chicks are back on the country charts thanks to Taylor Swift. “Soon You’ll Get Better,” the trio’s collaboration on Taylor’s latest album “Lover,” lands at 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The tune is Taylor’s 21st Hot Country Songs top ten, and the Dixie Chicks’ 15th. The song is also at number 63 on the all-genre Hot 100 singles chart, their first time in 12 years they've landed on that chart.
  • Elsewhere on the chart, Justin Moore's "The Ones That Didn't Make it Back Home" tops the "Billboard" Country Airplay chart, his seventh number one song.
