Mickey Guyton To Join Keith Urban As Host Of The ACM Awards

The 56^th Academy of Country Music Awards will have a familiar face as host along with a first timer. Last year’s ACM host, Keith Urban, will be joined this year by Mickey Guyton, making her the first-ever Black woman to host the ACMs. 

“I’m beyond thrilled to be co-hosting with my friend Mickey,” Keith shares. “I love that finally everyone will get to see her infectious energy and uber creative spirit in full light,”

Keith has won 15 ACM Awards in his career and is nominated for two more this year; for his collaboration with Pink on the hit “One Too Many” as the Music Event of the Year and as the song’s producer. He’s also nominated in the same category for his appearance on Thomas Rhett’s “Be A Light.” Mickey is nominated for New Female Artist of the Year for the second time.

The 56^th ACM awards will air Sunday, April 18^th on CBS live from Nashville.
